Welcome to my website.  I am pleased to provide you with this on-line look into my campaign for Rockland County Family Court Judge.

The Family Court handles our community’s most sensitive issues with a single standard: the best interest of our children.  As a mother, Judge, veteran Special Victims Prosecutor and full-time advocate for children, I know the pain and trauma families feel when their futures are guided by court decisions.  But I also know that experienced and caring judges can make a huge difference for families in crisis.

I’m running for Family Court Judge to put my experience to work for Rockland County families.  As a Special Victims Prosecutor,I prosecuted child molesters, rapists and perpetrators of domestic violence.  As a County Court Judge, I rendered effective and impartial justice.  As Executive Director of the Children’s Rights Society, I represent children who are victims of abuse and neglect, children in foster care and children torn apart by custody battles. 

As a wife and a mother, I understand the joys and challenges involved in raising children. As a professional, I understand the challenges that exist in our community.  Families in crisis need a Family Court Judge with the experience, understanding and sensitivity to render thoughtful, realistic and compassionate decisions.

I will be that kind of Judge.  I respectfully ask for your vote in the Democratic Primary on September 13, 2011.
